Brasserie Max's Sake Martini – Recipe

For something a little unexpected, enjoy this sophisticated cocktail. It’s light, aromatic and sippable, and matches wonderfully with parmesan chunks.

Sake Martini

Yields one serving

30ml gin – a quality London dry gin is ideal

15ml Lillet Blanc – an aromatic French aperitif wine

15ml sake – a light, medium-bodied one, ideally

Measure the gin, Lillet Blanc and sake into a shaker, toss in plenty of ice cubes and stir thoroughly for 30 seconds to cool. Filter into a pre-chilled martini glass and present.

A sophisticated cocktail with Japanese flair
